A series of live debates and discussion on everything PR-related will start on Wednesday 8 September at 5pm (London Time Zone)

The CIPR TV is a brand new addition to the CIPR, developed by members, for members.
With so much happening in PR - from the impact of social media, to pressure on public sector communications, new measurement standards and contentious issues such as reputation laundering - the CIPR wanted to bring together some of the most engaging and experienced communicators to discuss the issues of the day and share practice and thinking.
A series of live shows will start on Wednesday 8 September at 5pm (London Time Zone), and then every three weeks on an ongoing basis. Each show will be hosted by CIPR members and feature a guest speaker. You can tweet questions and comments during the shows, with the hashtag #ciprtv.
In the coming weeks we’ll hope to see:
Paul Mylrea, Head of Press and Media Relations at the BBC will talk to us about reputation washing and, as CIPR President-Elect, his view on the profession’s challenges in 2011.
Robert Phillips, CEO of Edelman UK will talk to us about the changing communications world and a new era of public engagement.
Mark Borkowski, MD of Borkowski will talk about the differences between publicity and PR.
CIPR members can get involved and suggest topics CIPR should address or guests that members think CIPR should get on the show. If you are a CIPR member and have suggestions, please get in touch with CIPR by leaving a comment, or tweeting with the hashtag #ciprtv.
