Welcome to the third edition of Grapevine Awards - the first specialized competition that distinguishes the creativity and professionalism of internal communication specialists in Europe. This year applicants have the opportunity to compete skills, knowledge and achievements with projects from Bulgaria and abroad - Grapevine Awards opens its doors for both Bulgarian and international agencies and organizations. It will be our pleasure to welcome the best practices in the field of internal communications!

We updated the categories and regulations of the competition, following up the trends in internal communications, in order to give the communication specialist the best opportunities for professional upgrade and knowledge sharing.

This year the projects in Grapevine Awards will compete in five official categories:

Best Internal Communication campaign
Best employee engagement program /campaign
Best Internal event
Best Internal media
Best program/campaign of foreign internal team or agency

Applicants will also compete for two special awards:

Communication Leader Award - recognition of successful communication leaders in an organization.

Creativity Award - recognition for the most innovative, low-budget approach for achieving communication goals in an internal campaign.

Chairman of the jury of Grapevine Awards 2013 for the second time will be Kevin Ruck - experienced professional in corporate strategy, internal communication, change, social media and employee engagement, and the creator of the training courses in internal communications of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (UK).

For a consecutive year the project entries in the competition and winners in Grapevine Awards are assessed and determined by a respected jury consisting of Bulgarian and foreign specialists, highly qualified and experienced in the field of internal communications, public relations, human resources and organizational management.

Call for entries - Grapevine Awards 2013!

Here are some of the most important conditions that you must meet in order to be successful your application for participation in the competition:

-          The deadline for submission of applications in Grapevine Awards is 14 June 2013.

-          To enter in Grapevine Awards 2013 you should submit program/campaign or project implemented in the period January 2012 - March 2013.

-          Only projects / campaigns aimed at internal audiences of an organization are allowed to participate

-          Entries are accepted from both in-house departments and the individuals who work within them, and agencies who have worked closely on the campaigns.

Why should You enter? There are at least five reasons:

1. To win a prize for your professionalism in the field of internal communications - even if you don’t win first place, the jury’s evaluation may improve your approach and thinking.

2. Justify your budget - use the awards as a way of benchmarking what you’re already doing or to measure yourself against your peers.

3. Raise the bar - take your work to the next level and aim higher.

4. Inspire your team - reward individuals or teams by showcasing their work, and celebrate together!

5. Enhance our profession - help raise the profile of effective internal communication and inspire others to follow your steps.

The competition was created in 2009 on the initiative and concept of Apeiron Academy, part of Apeiron Communication, with the support of the first professional network of internal communicators in Bulgaria - Internal Communicator Club.
