First professional Internal Communicator Club (ICC) in Bulgaria is now gathering strength and new friends
First professional network of Internal Communication Specialists is now a fact in Bulgaria. The first meeting of Apeiron Academy Internal Communicator Club friends was held on 31st of March.
The idea for the establishment of the Club arose during the Second International Conference "Successful Communications Start from Within" organized by Apeiron Communication in November 2007. The initiative was initially taken up by the team of Apeiron Academy and was lately supported by and put into effect through joint efforts of communication experts from leading Bulgarian and foreign companies in the country.
The first meeting was dedicated on identifying and determining ICC's main goals. The leading task of the Club will be to provide information and evidence on the benefits and advantages that organizations can have from consistent internal communications. ICC's meetings are also aimed to contribute to peer-to-peer networking, exchange of professional knowledge and good practices among HR practitioners, PR specialists and managers. Participants will use their experience to prepare and publish a professional booklet including case-studies and examples from the real practice of internal communicators, as well as to launch an internet forum for professional discussions and opinion sharing.
In their work ICC's members will rely on the expertise of Liam Fitzpatrick and Kevin Ruck. Both of them have international recognition as PR practitioners and are lecturers at the Chartered Institute of Public Relation. Liam and Kevin are also guest lecturers in the training programs of Apeiron Academy.
After the successful beginning, our aspiration as founders of ICC is to gain active support from a wider range of HR specialist, PR practitioners and organizational managers. Members and friends of ICC will have monthly meetings every last Wednesday of the month.
