Apeiron Academy announced the winners in the first PR youth competition

The first PR essay competition for youth (ages 16-21) on the topic of "How would I present Bulgaria is I were a PR specialist?".

In the competition, organized by Apeiron Academy, the CIPR Accredited Center, involved 25 young people from different parts of Bulgaria.

The big winner is Mira Boneva, 17, senior in First Private English High-School "William Shakespeare" in Sofia. She was given by Apeiron Academy a full scholarship for the newest PR qualification of CIPR - CIPR Foundation Award in PR. The scholarship covers all costs for the program and the additional materials.

Mira's essay impressed the jury, consisting of experts and communication specialists from Apeiron Communication and CIPR, with its direction and proper reflection on the problem as well as adequate ideas about their realization.

Eleven are the winners who will make their first steps in the world of PR and communications in the initiative "One day in the PR department of..." On July 6 the young people took place in a short PR and communications training in the CIPR Accredited Center in Bulgaria - Apeiron Academy. The same day they had the opportunity to visit the press center of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Science in Bulgaria and to get acquainted with the work of communication specialists in the government administration.

In July 2010 the 11 finalists in the competition would be "interns for a day" in the partnering organizations. The competition and the initiative "One day in the PR department of..." received the support of Minister Sergei Ignatov and the specialists from the press center of Ministry of Education, Youth, and Science as a project that will give young people the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge about the job of communication specialists, to be mentored in their career development and choice of future educational specialization.


Apeiron Academy is the first qualification center outside of UK where the CIPR course - Foundation Award in PR, will start in October, 2010. The qualification is appropriate for everyone who is about to enter the PR profession. The course lasts 3 days consisting of 15 hours of lectures and practical cases.
